In everyday school life, the development of social-emotional skills often emerges naturally through collaborative situations, shared projects, play, self-reflection, and creative group activities.

T.A.L.E. sessions support these skills through intentionally structured, story-based methods. Folktales, body–emotion-based practices, creative processing, and shared reflection create an experiential learning space in which children can explore new skills while connecting with their own experiences and emotions, and reflecting on their social experiences within a safe and supportive environment. These recurring experiences may gradually support the development of emotion comprehension, self-regulation, empathy, and relational skills, while also strengthening emotional coping and inner stability, thereby contributing to psychological well-being and mental health.

For us, stories are not tools of direct instruction, but imaginative and relational spaces in which children can connect with their own experiences, emotions, and social worlds.

The sessions are designed for preschool children, early elementary school children, and preadolescents.
